Coronet: definition: a small or lesser crown usually worn by those of lesser royal rank. That could be said of the Dodge Coronet, as it was out ranked by the grander models that were above it. However, in 1968 that changed with all new design that had much in common with its sister ship the Charger. They both feature masculine lines that look at more home on a race car, then a streetcar.
